Kitchen Cabinet Painting

Our cabinet painting process typically takes around 7 business days.

During this time, we will be  on-site for 3 days following the outlined schedule:

​

Day 1 and Day 2 ( consecutive days):

​

• Removal and careful labeling of all doors and drawers, which will then be transported to our shop for preparation and painting

• Removal and labeling of all hinges

• Degreasing, deglossing, and preparing frames for primer and paint

• Masking of the entire kitchen area, including appliances, countertops, walls, and ceilings

• Please note that kitchen appliances will not be accessible during the first and second workdays

• Application of shellac primer, followed by a scuff sand once dry

• Painting with an HVLP sprayer or roller depending on desired finish

• Removal of all masking once the paint is dry

• Clean work area

• By the end of Day 2, your kitchen will be fully accessible for normal use

 

Day 3 -Installation Day (approximately 5 business days after day 2):

​

• Reinstallation of doors and drawer fronts

• Installation of any hardware. We offer a large variety of cabinet pulls or you may provide your own.

 

CABINET DOORS:​

​

• Our estimates include the spraying & installation of all cabinet doors and drawers using the above process. 

 

CABINET FRAMES:

​

• Detail the cabinets and doors and clean all work areas 

• Review job with homeowner and collect final payment.
